Chivahn ventured into the world of selling handmade goods in 2003, and never stopped. She does hair for a living for her day job and often stocks ready-made stock in her salon. She does all her crafting and sewing in her home art studio, with lots of snacks and emotional support from her husband, Ulfgar, and her cats, Loaf and Rollo.

For a few summers she was very active in the local Faire scene, vending out of a 10x20 booth full of handmade drinking horns and headdresses in Washington and Oregon. 

She spends her free time gaming, building cosplay, and going to Disney parks as often as possible.
